Magnet board//Lindie and Co

Hello there! Today I'm sharing these awesome magnet boards from Lindie and Co
if you haven't heard of them, check out all these amazing board options here, the absolutely best part about these boards are that they are completely customize-able, yes! You can pick your own finished + working, but let's be honest, I love the combos they already have. So in typical party loving style, I put together a DIY Party Magnet board! Yes how awesome is that, if you don't have time to throw a party, than just assemble everything on this party board, and voila now your kiddos or hubby is feeling the birthday love + surprise. Grab some party hats, sprinkes, cake topper, party horns, pretty paper straw or anything that just screams party that you have laying around the house and celebrate!

I'm sharing all the product + more photo over at Mom's Best, be sure to make your loved ones feel special this year for their birthday. P.S. once the party is over now you can fill this gorgeous magnet board with photos, and other memory goodies!

Stay tune to see Part 2 of the possibilities with these board!

Party Like a Unicorn.

Tuesday, March 17, 2015

Just doing a a little party prep around here, and as I was gathering party supplies for this little party I saw this cute little pink boxes, order them with these cute little unicorn toppers and packaged them up! I thought these little "party like a unicorn" boxes would be perfect for for the kiddos for the party. Instead of having a cookie cutter in each box I will be making unicorn cookies, which could be easily swapped out for the cookie cutter, same with the cupcakes!

This box literally takes minutes to assemble and if you happen to make a couple items (cotton candy sticks, cookies) that means this box comes in under $5 each. That makes these cuties super affordable, if you know an little girls in your life, they would probably love this! Happy gifting or party favoring!

So friends, Party Like A Unicorn!, or at least share the gift of partying like a unicorn!

Unicorn Cotton Candy

Tuesday, March 17, 2015

Hello! So Guess who's turning 1 & 4? My nieces, good thing they almost share a birthday!
So being the party planner I am, maybe I deemed my self that but that's totally fine, my sister asked me to plan a party. So naturally I ask my niece what kind of party she wants, any guesses....FROZEN
So it took everything in me to convince her that a unicorn party would be soooo much cooler, let's just say she had her doubts, but have some words like, glitter, cotton candy, cookies, confetti, she was convinced, thank heavens for 3 year old attention spans! So I won, her mom won, but now I'm in charge of pulling out all the stops for this little party. We picked up unicorn tee's, and some supplies are headed this way! Stay tune for all the party must have details + supplies I will be sharing to have a happy successful party!

P.S. photo steps above on how to create these little cotton candy sticks!
Here's the directions + supplies:

Cardstock
Hot Glue
Modge Podge
Glitter
Cotton Candy (you can pick this up at an grocery in the candy isle)

Steps:
Cut your paper out into the shape of a triangle.Cut the end tip off, just a little bit.
Now roll the paper into a cylindrical shape. Grab the glue gun & glue the edges down the "seam"
Once you have the cone glued, grab some modge podge, dip the end in than quickly dip the glued in, into glitter, let dry and ta-da done! Grab some cotton candy and stuff the top, easy peasy!

Tuesday, March 17, 2015

Hello, Happy St. Patricks day! I hope you day is filled with lots of green!
Today I'm sharing this sweet little St. Patricks day themed breakfast over at Moms Best.
I had to admit I had the CUTEST little models, okay, okay, I maybe biased because their my neices but I really do have the cutest little nieces, watching their little faces light up was absolutely priceless, these little girls are silly, and there 10-month old sister hoped on in the photos and stole the show, she grabbed a box of donuts and started stuffing her little face right away, seriously so cute, you can see the photo here!

Happy St. Patrick's day! Rest of the party details over here!

Project life.

Saturday, March 14, 2015

Have you guys heard of project life? Ok you probably have.
But I'm just new to the game, but I love the idea! You can check more details out here.
Basically you print photos + journal about those photos or moments in your life, but since I've never kept a journal, terrible I know, I'm 100% in love with this idea! I think that its perfect, especially to leave behind memories and photos for generations to come, so I'm thinking a little futuristic but I want my great-great-grandbabies to know who we are, so I'm starting. And since I was a HUGE scrapbooker back in the day, I've got my baby - beginning college life complete. But I'm just going to start today, the last couple months. So here I go!

Also I know there's a ton of photo printing sites out there, which are amazing, i've used a couple my self, but I decided to save a little cash by just printing these at home on my HP photoprinter using 4x6 photo paper, BEST idea (see photo above). Also I love the idea of a HUGE book, but I felt like I need to start small so I picked up a mini book with 4x4 sheets. Keep it simple and small for now and I can always grow into a big book if I can stick to it!

I'll be posting more of my pages here soon, so stay tune!

If you printing at home here's what you'll need:
HP Photo Printer
HP Photo paper
Instagram

* Note I happen to love instagram because it filters your photos (I also use the app Pic Tap Go) and makes the images sqaure which is perfect for printing

Instruction: Download your instagram photos to your computer, open the photo in a photo editing software OR word, just change your papersize to 4x6, than copy your images into the program, make sure the images are the proper size, for a small book, 2x2. Trim and you're done! You can also turn these into magnets just by adding a small magnet to the backside.

A LITTLE SUNSHINE THERAPY.

Thursday, March 12, 2015

Guys, let me tell you, vacation is super nice, ok really nice, but dang....
the harsh reality of going back to life, just kind of slaps you in the face, I feel like I'm all over the place, like trying to find some common ground like my mind running 1,000 miles an hour but not making sense. Anyways enough about my scatter brain lately. Here's a little summery of our trip, we packed it up and fly to Phoenix, if you haven't go, go, but seriously now I know why all the "older" people love it, I myself living in a state where we get ALL four seasons (it's a love hate relationship) I would easily pack it on down to Arizona in the winter, no questions asked, because seasonal depression around here is no joke, it's real, and overrated.

We had such a blast! Renaissance fair, which they take very seriously down there, waffle trucks, Gilbert Temple, palm trees, late night hot tub, gorgeous pink + orange sunsets, more good food, flea market, rock shopping, just shopping, just basking in the sunshine. It was a great 5 days! Oh, and friends I ever threw in a selfie of the hubs and I, cactus selfie!

But I'm back and I absolutely promise I have some fun things in store, so stay tuned!

Ombre Donuts.

Monday, March 9, 2015

So who loves a little ombre style? Me, I do, I know it may be like soo last year, but I'm still over here full hearted-ly loving it. So today we it's a little ombre but donut style! Because we all love donuts? Seriously I snapped the last picture of this than instantly popped one of those bad boys in my mouth! Delicious, best part about these are, they're cake donuts, never ever in my life had ever had a preference of donuts, but after these I just may be partial to cake donuts from now on. I just picked these up from my local bakery, but local bakery, I do mean Super Target, let's get real, I don't like in a fancy city with my own bakery, so really I just mean like Target, Hy-vee, Bakers, you get it, right?

Anyways head on over to Mom's Best to get the full tutorial on these! Best part is that it just requires 1 bowl of frosting + 2 food colorings, that's it super easy. Donuts never looked or tasted this good. So hop on over to Mom's Best to make these fun treats, these would be so fun for kiddos!
